6-101.11 Surface Characteristics-Indoor Areas (C) The facility is narrow and relatively cramped. There were to staff working while the inspection was performed making the space feel even more tight. There are steel shelving not on castors making it difficult to clean beneath. Consequently, there is food debris (seeds, nuts, granola, oats, etc) being flung into corners beneath and behind. EHS recalls this facility being named as commissary for at least 2 other MFU, which does not seem plasuible or practicle--EHS will need to follow-up. Please try and consolodate supplies and shelving so that cleaning is made more convenient / "easy." Thank you. 6-201.13 Floor and Wall Junctures, Coved, and Enclosed or Sealed (C) Observed considerable accumulation of food debris and grime under and behind equipment. Advised PIC that store is in dire need of a deep cleaning. 6-501.114 Maintaining Premises, Unnecessary Items and Litter (C) PIC was given a flashlight and directed to view beneath and behind equipment. PIC acknoweledged coc-compliance.
