  3-303.11 Ice Used as Exterior Coolant, Prohibited as Ingredient (P) Observed a pre-packaged bag of ice held in a full ice machine dsignated for the soda fountains. PIC confirmed the ice in the machine is used for the drink fountains; however, the bagged ice is for retail. PIC stated management usually moves the bags inside the building and hold them in the ice machine when there is only 1 staff working inside for ease and to not have the bags in the outside freezers. EHS informed PIC about cross contamination for the ice in the vending machine is being used as an exterior collant for the retail, bagged ice. PIC stated they will inform management going forwarded.

Observed the date on each item for vary between expiration dates between the years 2024 through 2026. Informed PIC of the expired items. PIC pulled the items to be discarded.
