  • 6-501.111

6-501.111 Controlling Pests (Pf, C) Observed (from behind) significant contamination of dispensing machines--a sticky syrup was coating walls, windows, flooring and underside / backside of macines. A gnat population was thriving along the bottom rear of at least 2 machines. Mold-like growth was taking shape.

  • 4-202.11

4-202.11 Food-Contact Surfaces-Cleanability (Pf) Observed that the countertop slots on which several dispensing machines sat were designed to maximize utility and not for cleaning access. Becasue machines cannot be easily accessed for cleaning frequency, they appear not to be cleaned frequently enough to prevend mold and gnat infestation. PIC was made aware and that a thorough service cleaning was past due. PIC will correct with two weeks. 4-202.16 Nonfood-Contact Surfaces (C) Observed the various areas, i.e., display door/grabs/handles, floor surfaces especially out of sight locations, to be sticky. PIC will correct. 4-204.13 Dispensing Equipment, Protection of Equipment and Food (P, C) Observed dispensing equipment backsides to be not easily cleanable and therefore not cleaned frequently enough to prevent gnat and mold-like growths. PIC will correct within 2 weeks. 4-204.17 Ice Units, Separation of Drains (C) Observed various piping emanating from beneath large ice-baggin-machine. At least one of these pipes was condensation line and was not properly air-gapped. PIC will correct.

  • 4-204.119

4-204.119 Warewashing Sinks and Drainboards, Self-Draining (C) 4-301.12 Manual Warewashing, Sink Compartment Requirements (Pf, C) 4-301.13 Drainboards (C) Observed 3 Compartment sink to be insanitary. Specifically the SANITIZE Compartment was contaminated with food debris and its drainboard was stacked with unclen utensils. PIC will correct. 4-501.14 Warewashing Equipment, Cleaning Frequency (C) 4-501.17 Warewashing Equipment, Cleaning Agents (Pf) Observed auto-dishwasher to be unmoved in its corner. Consequently the floor beneath it appeared to be supporting a slime-mold-like colony--speckled translucent white in color. PIC will have served and area around it cleaned.

  • 4-601.11

4-601.11(B) and (C) Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, Nonfood-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils (C) 4-602.13 Nonfood Contact Surfaces (C) Observed nearly all backside of equipment, both behind and beneath to be littered with various types of debris i.e., cans, bottles, syrup, standing water, paper, wrappers, etc. EHS advised PIC that these issues were enumerated at the last inspection and have become worse. PIC understands and will correct.
