6-501.111 (A-B, D) - Core: Controlling Pests; Monitoring Addl Notes: -- Observed accumulation of small flies (gnats) near donut display case and hallway area near restrooms. The PIC provided the most recent pest control reports from 9/4/26 and 9/14/26 with documentation of small flies actively being targeted. Provided additional solutions to help reduce the attraction of pests: • Limiting standing water/liquid spills • Filling holes/gaps along floors, walls, and ceilings • Protect outer openings • Limit open/exposed food • Inspect shipments of food and premises for evidence of pests • Maintain a clean and sanitary facility Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
