6-501.12 - Core: Cleaning, Frequency and Restrictions Addl Notes: Observed trash and discarded items on the ground near the Waste Management trash receptacle in the parking lot. Person in charge (PIC) stated that individuals enter the area at night and go through the trash to search for items discarded by the establishment. PIC also stated that locks have been placed on the trash receptacles; however, the locks have been damaged or destroyed. Advised the PIC that trash and debris around the receptacles should be picked up and removed on a daily basis. Discussed with the PIC the importance of maintaining the trash area clean and properly secured to help prevent rodent and pest activity. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
