Observed several chlorine sanitizer bottles for food contact surfaces labeled with a strength range of 50-200ppm as a safe range for food contact surfaces. Bottles tested above 200ppm. Quaternary sanitizer solution prepared in 3-compartment sink with water over 110*F reaching a strength of 500ppm. Chlorine solution should be prepared to 50-100ppm, and quaternary solution 150-400ppm for proper and safe sanitation. Staff discarded of all solutions and prepared again with room temperature water. Chlorine solution reaching a strength of 50ppm and quaternary solution at a strength of 200ppm. Staff to remove labeling and manually place label or edit label to notate proper range and solution. PRIORITY VIOLATION-7-204.11 - Priority: Sanitizers, Criteria-Chemicals Addl Notes: Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. Predefined Comment: Sanitizer was diluted by PIC to approved levels at time of inspection. Predefined Comment: Discussed approved use of sanitizers with the person-in-charge (PIC). Sanitizer must be used at concentrations and in an approved manner per manufacturer instructions, 40 CFR 180.940, and 40 CFR 180.2020.
