The procedures shall address the specific actions EMPLOYEES must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of EMPLOYEES, consumers, FOOD, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. Facility Per the PIC, the food establishment does not have specific procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. When asked if the facility has a clean-up/spill kit to respond to those events, she said that they do not. She was not aware that their sanitizer was not effective against norovirus, and they do not have all of the personal protective equipment necessary.
