5-103.11 (B) Hot water generation and distribution systems shall be sufficient to meet the peak hot water demands throughout the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. The hot water supply is not consistent or reliable at the moment. There is trouble conveying hot water to where it needs to go, such as hand sinks in the restrooms. The PIC states that a new hot water heater was recently installed and there have been issues with hot water retention. A work order has been requested through the corporate channels, but there has been no service call response yet. The meat department and the deli have water that is at least 100F.
