Observed the 5 nasty symptoms/6 big illnesses handout in back storage area. Person in Charge (PIC) stated that she did recently sign documentation of her acknowledging her reporting responsibilities, however she could not produce the documentation as she states there was a water leak in the office and they lost/misplaced most of their documentation.

  2-501.11 Clean-up of Vomiting and Diarrheal Events. A FOOD ESTABLISHMENT shall have procedures for EMPLOYEES to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. The procedures shall address the specific actions EMPLOYEES must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of EMPLOYEES, consumers, FOOD, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. Observed that facility had the proper procedures to deal with vomiting/fecal accidents but when asking PIC if they had the proper personal protective equipment they stated they did have some but could not find it in the storage room.

  5-205.15 A PLUMBING SYSTEM shall be: (B) Maintained in good repair. Handwashing sink near ice machine Observed water was not able to drain in the basin for the handwashing sink near the ice machine and the pipes started to leak under the sink. PIC stated she washes hands at the handwashing sink by the bar before going to the ice machine.
