4-501.11 (A) EQUIPMENT shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under Parts 4-1 and 4-2. Retail floor produce chest cooler (NW in block of 4 near entrance) Observed cold holding temperatures being maintained for TCS food items, however PIC described the rear section of this cooler freezes the product so the equipment is not functioning as designed, in good repair. PIC showed example of a package that had frozen over.
