Sewage Back-up (ISFD)
8-404.11 - Priority: Ceasing Operations and Reporting. Addl Notes: Arrived onsite for a routine inspection (INSP-118721-2026) and talked with the manager, Jen. Findings: Observed sewage actively overflowing from the establishment's floor drain located under the 3-compartment sink. 3-compartment sink itself drains into the mop sink. When 3-compartment sink or mop sink is turned on, drain backs up. This is the only drain that is backing up at time of inspection. Due to the sewage overflow, the establishment has been suspended at this time, and a red closed sign has been placed on the food area. The establishment put in a service order at time of inspection. Due to violations noted on this inspection report, County legal action may result. A permit holder shall immediately discontinue operations and notify the regulatory authority if an imminent health hazard may exist because of an emergency such as a fire, flood, extended interruption of electrical or water service, sewage backup, misuse of poisonous or toxic materials, onset of an apparent foodborne illness outbreak, gross insanitary occurrence or condition, or other circumstance that may endanger public health. Corrective Action: Correct at once.
