The food establishment does not have procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the food establishment.

Employees are using unnecessary bare hand contact with foods. An employee was observed using bare hands with preparation of pizzas. Gloves must be worn when handling food. The hands should be washed frequently and properly when preparing pizzas.

Hand Drying device is not provided at handwashing sink. The handsink in the pizza prep area was not supplied with paper towels. All handsinks must be supplied with soap and paper towels. COS

Proper cold holding temperatures
Marinara/pizza sauce was being held on the counter during prep for orders at 50 degrees F. Time/temperature control for safety food are not stored at temperatures of 41F (5C) or less. The sauce was relocated to the prep top cooler.

Insects, rodents, and animals not present
A large rat was observed running in the facility during the inspection. Also,there appeared to be mice droppings in areas of the kitchen and on the steps leading to the basement. The facility must be free of any signs of pests. The lastest pest report was presented (9/28/2026).
