Routine inspection done in conjunction with a complaint inspection. Discussed the complaint with the manager during the inspection. The complainant stated they found an acrylic nail in their food. Corporate policy specifically prevents painted nails and acrylic nails for food service employees. Managers are also asked to assess compliance with this policy 2x/week during food safety checks. The facility had been notified about the complaint by the customer. The facility will re-train all employees on the fingernail policy, and glove change policy. Quat binding was also discussed with the manager during the inspection. This complaint will be closed and marked unverifiable.
