Routine inspection done in conjunction with an illness complaint. Discussed the complaint with the manager during the inspection. The complainant reported consuming food from the establishment and then getting ill several hours later. The facility has not had any ill employees, supplier issues, or customer complaints recently. One fryer has been down for a couple weeks and is waiting on a part, but is not being used. During the course of the day the facility requires managers to do food safety checks, which include checking cook temps. On the day of the complaint, three checks were done with 100% compliance. The facility is recommended to re-train employees on glove use and hand washing based on observations. Expo cooler may not be used for storage of TCS food until it can maintain minimum operating requirements. This complaint will be closed and marked unverifiable.
