Food Service Establishment Pre-Opening Inspection Conducted on 05/06/2026 due to the facility being close for a year. LICENSE IS APPROVED. Scope of Business: Establishment intends to offer typical Chinese Restaurant Food. Facility plans to keep similar menu type and staffing. Establishment is equipped to cook, cool, reheat, hot/cold hold. No remodeling has taken place in the establishment. Extensive changes to the menu require prior approval by the Scott County Health Department. Discussed that if the facility were to remodel an additional hand sink would be required on the front cook line. Limitations: Facility is limited to food items that can be done with their existing equipment and menu. No foods that would require a HACCP Plan and/or variance, items include foods that are considered a specialized process (acidified sushi rice, Reduced oxygen packaging, etc.) Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM): Facility has a certified food protection manager. Firm has been made aware of the basic food code requirements applicable to their establishment and current operation. Person in charge understands the responsibility of the permit holder to comply with those requirements. If a subsequent on-site inspection reveals non-compliance with regulations, the permit holder agrees to bring violations into full compliance within the time-frame specified in the Iowa Food Code. The facility is approved by the Scott County Health Department to begin operation, so long as the facility meets all plumbing, building, and electrical requirements from the City of Davenport.
