Routine inspection conducted at the facility on 08/11/2026. The facility has several certified food protection managers, employee illness reporting agreement policy, and a procedure to respond to norovirus/bodily fluid cleanup procedure. Items that require additional action: #16- facility manager agrees to perform additional cleaning on the ice machine and fountain soda machine. #22- According to the manager, the walk-in cooler was temping below 41 degrees F. during opening. Staff began to move product to other refrigeration units and had called refrigeration techs from A&A and Cones, and staff were going to take the remaining TCS food product to another Pancheros location. Management mentioned that they that they had a large catering order for on 08/12, and the inspector discussed that they may need to prepare these items at another location if the walk-in cooler is not repaired on 08/1. Aside from a prep cooler and a drink cooler, the walk-in cooler is this location's main source of refrigeration. #38- Management agrees to submit a work order for the daylight at the front entrance door. #49- Management agrees to perform additional cleaning on the fans. The health dept. will follow-up on or after 08/14/2026. Any questions can be sent to Raymond.Miller@scottcountyiowa.gov Follow-up will be completed on or after 8/21/2026 by Physical Recheck.
