Routine inspection conducted at the facility on 05/20/2026 due to a potential illness complaint. The facility has several certified food protection managers, employee illness reporting agreement policy, and a procedure to respond to norovirus/bodily fluid cleanup. Complaint is UNVERIFIABLE at this time. Complainant consumed chicken nuggets and a double cheeseburger. During the time of inspection burgers observed being cooked and hot held well above 155 degrees F. Chicken nuggets are held for 30 minutes, and timers were being utilized as intended. Staff observed wearing gloves when handling burgers and toppings. Items that require additional action: #16- Facility district manager has put in a work order for Ecolab to address the low parts per million count on the mechanical dish machine. Staff were instructed to utilize the three-compartment sink for the final sanitization step for dish washing. #50- Facility district manager agrees to submit a work order to address hot water issue, to ensure sinks can reach at least 100 degrees F. per 2017 Food Code. #51- Facility district manager agrees to submit a work order to address leaking faucet on the 3-compartment sink. Sink is still works. The Health Dept. will follow-up on or after 05/23/2026 (after Memorial Day Holiday). Any questions can be sent to Raymond.Miller@scottcountyiowa.gov Follow-up will be completed on or after 5/23/2026 by Physical Recheck.
